Who is responsible for your data?

Handyman Algarve, operating this website, handymanalgarve.pt, is responsible for the personal data you submit here. For anything in this policy, contact us through the quote form on the contact page.

What we collect, and why

When you request a quote we collect only what is needed to prepare it and carry out the job: the service and area, your description of the problem, how urgent it is, your name, and one way to reach you (phone or email). We do not ask for anything beyond that, and we do not collect data from you when you only browse the site.

Who your data is shared with

Your request details are shared with the professional assigned to your job, so they can prepare and carry out the work. This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data (such as IP addresses) to serve the site and to protect the quote form from spam. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

If your request does not turn into a job, we delete or anonymize its personal data within 12 months. Records without personal data (such as the date, service, and area of a request) may be kept longer for planning purposes.

Your rights

You can ask at any time what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deletion covers our records and anything forwarded to the professional assigned to your job. Send the request through the quote form and we honor it within the timelines set by the GDPR. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Quote requests are protected against automated abuse, and abuse records store IP addresses only in a scrambled (hashed) form.
